Feng Fujing,a scholar in the late Ming Dynasty,ruled poetry from an early age.Shuo Shi Bu Yi is a book that reflects his poetics.Feng Fujing shows his admiration for the poems of Han and Wei by distinguishing their styles and analyzing the works of specific writers.The view of Han and Wei poetry in the book is deeply influenced by the view of restoring ancient ways of the Mingqizi,which continues the basic idea of“ancient style living in Han and Wei”.At the same time,under the influence of Wang’s theory of mind and the public security school’s theory of“spirituality”,Feng Fujing had his own opinions from time to time,paying attention to the“temperament”of ancient poems and the“talent”of writers,which reflected the development and transformation of the poetry criticism of the school of restoring ancient ways in the late Ming dynasty.
