网络突发事件群体行为变迁的实证比较研究

An Empirical Comparative Study of Group Behavior Changes in Network Emergencies

互联网正在改变当今社会的生产生活模式,这个过程中的许多社会矛盾冲突问题也通过互联网得以更快速地呈现甚至放大,导致了许多损伤社会秩序的网络突发事件。与实体突发事件不同,网络突发事件参与群体的行为空间主要在网络上。依据网络突发事件参与者对事件参与程度和认知程度两个维度将参与者分为四个不同类型的群体:睡眠者,围观者,观察者和活跃者。并通过中国警察和中国社会公众两个样本的调查问卷数据,对网络突发事件和四个群体的变迁模型进行实证研究,印证了四个假设:网络上特定话题会引起网民的快速聚集,网民在围绕特定话题或事件而大量集聚的过程中会因为各自的利益或价值观等因素而形成不同的群体,不同群体之间的行为存在互动与路径依赖,不同群体之间的行为变迁会诱发和促成网络突发事件的形成。

Internet is changing the living and production mode of today's world.In this process many contradictions appear faster than ever before in our society,even worse,they might be magnified,leading to the happenings of network emergencies which cause damage to the social order.Different from the entity emergencies,the behavior space of the groups involved in the network emergencies is mainly on the network.This paper divides the participants into four different types of groups according to the two dimensions of the degree of participation and cognition of the participants in the network emergencies,namely sleepers,onlookers,observers and activists.Through the data gathered from the responses to questionnaires send to Chinese police officers and the masses in China,it makes an empirical comparative analysis on the network emergencies and the change models of the four groups,which confirms four hypotheses:Specific topics on the network will cause rapid gathering of netizens;Netizens will form different groups in the process of mass agglomeration around specific topics or events due to their own interests or values;Behavioral interactions and path dependence between different groups exist;and Behavioral changes between different groups can induce and contribute to the formation of network emergencies.The study also presents new findings and inferences through sample comparison analysis.
