摘要
弗格森埃希菌是与大肠埃希菌同属近源的人畜共患条件致病菌。自1985年被发现并命名以来,已有多项研究表明弗格森埃希菌具有多重耐药性,可能是被忽视的重要的耐药基因储藏库。本文对弗格森埃希菌现有的研究进展进行综述,包括弗格森埃希菌的特征、鉴定方法、流行情况、致病性和毒力、耐药性,以便更好地了解弗格森埃希菌在人类和动物疾病感染中所扮演的角色,作好弗格森埃希菌的预防和治疗工作。
Escherichia fergusonii is closely related to Escherichia coli,and is an opportunistic pathogen infecting humans and animals.Since its discovery and naming in 1985,this bacterium has been reported increasingly to be multidrug-resistant,suggesting that it is probably a neglected important reservoir of antimicrobial resistance genes(AMRs).In this review,we discuss the current research on E.fergusonii,including the characteristics,identification methods,prevalence,pathogenicity,virulence and antimicrobial resistance,which will help to better understand the role of E.fergusonii in human and animal infections,and to prevent and cure the diseases caused by E.fergusonii.
