习近平总书记在全国公安工作会议上曾指出,我们与犯罪的较量更多体现在科技手段的掌握运用上,强调公安机关要坚持科技兴警,坚定不移走中国特色社会主义强警之路,要实施大数据战略,把大数据作为推动公安工作创新发展的大引擎、培育战斗力生成新的增长点。在智慧公安建设不断推进和广泛应用的大背景,将大数据深度融合到犯罪分析与犯罪预测的侦查活动中,构建大数据时代的新型犯罪分析与预测侦查模式,可以有效地降低发案率、降低警务成本、节约警务资源。

At the National Public Security Work Conference,President Xi Jinping pointed out that our fight against crime is more reflected in the mastery and application of scientific and technological means.The public security organs should persist in using science and technology to rejuvenate the police.We must carry out the strategy of big data,take big data as a big engine to promote the innovative development of public security work,and cultivate new growth points of combat effectiveness.With the coming of big data,information has played a more and more important role in the international crime struggle.Presently,the government has realized that accurate,reliable and all-round information is not only the prerequisite to attacking terrorism but foundation of making crime measures.It’s necessary to work out applicable countermeasures of crime information according to the situation of the country.
