“品德上能服众”是习近平总书记在全国宗教工作会议上对宗教界人才队伍建设提出的“四条标准”之一,也是历史上杰出宗教人物所具备的共同特点。四世班禅洛桑确吉坚赞在西藏历史上之所以成为藏传佛教界所有教派公认和顶礼膜拜的高僧大德,除其具有渊博的学识水平之外,尚与世九十二年如一日,始终谦恭待人、低调做人、艰苦简朴、严守戒律、关心贫苦群众疾苦等高尚品德密不可分。正因如此,早已成为历史上践行“四条标准”的杰出典范。

Panchen Labsang Choigye,commonly respected by the different schools of Tibetan Buddhism,was one of the model roles among the great masters.Panchen Lbsang Choigye receives respects of all schools of Tibetan Buddhism because of his wide range of knowledge,most importantly his great deeds which plays a model role among the great masters of Tibetan Buddhism.This article specifically focuses on four important ways of his never-ending deeds—namely,his modesty,his strictness of the religious discipline,his self-discipline and hard-working,and his concern about the happiness and sorrow of all beings.Because of these four important deeds,he became the role model among the great masters.
