Objective To compare the clinical effect of combined spinal and epidural anesthesia in labor analgesia. Methods 86 cases of parturients admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the objects of observation.According to the different anesthesia methods, they were divided into two groups.43 cases of parturients who were given epidural anesthesia were included in the control group;43 cases of parturients who were given combined spinal and epidural anesthesia were included in the study group. The VAS scores, total labor time, onset time and maintenance time of analgesia were compared between the two groups before anesthesia,5 minutes after anesthesia,10 minutes after anesthesia,30 minutes after anesthesia and 60 minutes after anesthesia. Results Before anesthesia, there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05);after anesthesia, the VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group in 5 minutes,10 minutes,30 minutes and 60 minutes after anesthesia(P<0.05);the total duration of labor and the onset time of analgesia in the study group were shorter than that of the control group, and the duration of analgesia was longer than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined spinal and epidural anesthesia can help the parturient to relieve pain and shorten the total labor time.
