摘要
在采用以太网无源光网络(Ethernet Passive Optical Network,EPON)技术实现近距离网络传输过程中,经常出现网络时断时连的问题。为此,对EPON技术原理、EPON网络设计规范和EPON光功率预算进行研究。基于上海外滩隧道监控系统的EPON技术应用案例,指出该网络时断时连问题的根源在于主干光缆过短。由此,提出增加链路损耗和改变设备终端2种解决方案,并分别分析对应的4种方法的优缺点,为EPON技术在隧道监控系统中的应用提供借鉴。
In order to improve the connection reliability of short distance EPON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network),the principle of EPON technology is studied and the design specifications of EPON,especially the optical power calculation,are analyzed.The design of EPON in the Bund tunnel monitoring system is examined and the reason why the transmission is unreliable is identified.The inappropriate length of the main cable can cause transmission failure.To increase link loss or to change equipment terminal is proposed to solve the problem.Four designs to realize the approach are proposed with analysis of advantages and disadvantages of each design.
