The development background of coal t ar hydrogenation industry in China was introduced.And the characteristics,production capacity and output of high-temperature coal tar,medium-temperature coal tar and low and medium-temperature coal tar were analyzed and compared.The raw material proportion,capacity distribution and project scale of this industry were summed up.In the end,the constraining factors of coal tar hydrogenation industry in raw material,market,technology and environmental protection were pointed out,and the future development direction was analyzed.
