摘要
马克斯·霍克海默和西奥多·阿多诺在《启蒙辩证法》中揭示了“神话就是启蒙,启蒙却倒退成了神话”的辩证法,并批判了资本主义社会中出现的文化工业现象。他们认为在资产阶级操控下的大众文化已经失去了文化的本真性而沦落为商品,渗透在其中的技术理性加深了大众文化对人们的奴役。对霍克海默和阿多诺的大众文化批判理论进行阐释不仅能够了解法兰克福学派对意识形态理论的发展,还能对反思现代社会的文化状况提供思路。
In The Dialectic of Enlightenment,M.Max Horkheimer and Theodor Wiesengrund Adorno revealed the dialectics of“myth is enlightenment,but Enlightenment has regressed into myth”,and criticized the phenomenon of cultural industry in capitalist society.They believed that the mass culture under the control of the bourgeoisie has lost the authenticity of culture and become a commodity,and the technology penetrated into it deepens the enslavement of mass culture to people.Therefore,the interpretation of Hokheimer and Ador⁃no’s critical theory of mass culture in the book can not only understand the development of ideology theory of Frankfurt school,but also provide ideas for reflection on the cultural situation of modern society.
