On the Construction of People’s Livelihood in Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region during the Period of Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War

民生建设是社会建设中的重要内容,是推动中国特色社会主义社会和谐稳定发展的重要保证。全面抗战时期,陕甘宁边区政府建立后,中国共产党通过发展经济推动农业生产、发展文教医疗卫生事业、健全民主法制、完善社保体系等一系列举措,改变了过去贫穷落后的面貌,民生建设方面取得了较为丰硕的成果。这些民生建设成果对新时代保障和改进民生建设具有重要的启示和借鉴。

The construction of people’s livelihood is an important part of social construction,is an important guarantee to promote the harmonious and stable development of socialism with Chinese characteristics.After the establishment of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia bor⁃der region government,the Communist Party of China and the border region government took a series of measures to promote agricultural production through economic development,develop cultural,educational,medical and health services,improve the democratic legal sys⁃tem,improve the social security system and so on,thus changing the poor and backward situation in the past and achieving relatively fruit⁃ful results in the improvement of people’s livelihood.These achievements in improving people's livelihood have important inspirations and lessons for ensuring and improving people’s livelihood in the new era.
