长链非编码RNA是一类长度超过200个核苷酸的非编码RNA,尽管其编码能力弱,但能通过表观遗传学、转录和转录后水平来调控基因表达。长链非编码RNA的异常表达或基因突变可参与多种神经退行性疾病的过程,如阿尔兹海默病、帕金森病和亨廷顿病中异常表达的lncRNA,这些lncRNA的异常表达通过干扰相关mRNA的功能促进了疾病的发展。

Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)is a class of noncoding RNA with the length of longer than 200 nucleotides.LncRNA regulated gene expression via epigenetic,transcriptional,and post-transcriptional level despite its weak protein-coding capacity.Abnormal expression or genetic mutation of lncRNA contributed to the process of neurodegenerative diseases,such as abnormally expressed lncRNAs in Alzheimer’s,Parkinson’s or Huntington’s disease,and the abnormal expressions of the lncRNAs promoted the development of those diseases by disturbing the functions of related mRNAs.
