长三角区域一体化扩容对企业出口影响的准自然实验研究

A Quasi-Natural Experiment Research about the Impact of Regional Integration Enlargement of the Yangtze River Delta on Enterprise Export

在推进新时代区域协调发展战略实施和出口贸易增速放缓的双重背景下,国内区域一体化扩容的出口效应究竟如何是一个值得探讨的问题。为此,文章匹配了中国海关贸易数据库和国泰安数据库,采用双重差分法考察了2010年长三角区域一体化扩容的企业出口效应。研究发现,长三角区域一体化扩容显著促进了整体城市与原有城市的企业出口,对新加入城市的企业出口没有显著影响,该结论具有稳健性。基于出口额分解的检验发现,长三角区域一体化扩容减少了企业出口的产品种类与目的国数量,提高了企业出口的贸易密度与平均出口价值。影响机制检验发现,长三角区域一体化扩容的专业化经营效应提升了企业出口水平,而创新抑制效应降低了企业出口水平。异质性检验发现,长三角区域一体化扩容对外资企业、小规模企业、低生产率企业的出口促进作用较大。研究结论对推进中国区域一体化建设和促进出口增长具有重要启示。

Under the dual background of promoting the implementation of regional coordinated development strategy in the new era and slowing down the growth rate of export trade.What is the export effect of domestic regional integration?This is a question need to be discussed.For this reason,this paper matches China Customs Trade Database and CSMAR Database to study the export effect of regional integration enlargement of the Yangtze River Delta in 2010 by using the double difference method.The study finds that the regional integrationuenlargement of the Yangtze River Delta significant promotes the export of enterprises in the whole city and the original city,but has no significantly impact on the export of enterprises in the new cities.The conclusion is robust.Based on the decomposition of export value,the study found that the regional integration enlargement of the Yangtze River Delta reduces the types of export products and the number of destination countries,and increases the export trade density and average export value.Mechanism test found that the specialized operation effect of regional integration enlargement of the Yangtze River Delta enhances the export level of enterprises and the innovation inhibition effect reduces the export level of enterprises.The heterogeneity test found that the regional integration enlargement of the Yangtze River Delta plays a greater role in promoting the export of foreignfunded enterprises,small-scale enterprises and low-productivity enterprises.The conclusion of this paper has important enlightenment for promoting the construction of regional integration and export growth in China.
