The connotation of China’s ecological civilization originated from but transcends environmental protection.It is not only a theoretical construction,but also a lively and practical exploration,which shows the modernization process of the whole nation led by the CPC to pursue sustainable development.From the perspective of etymology,ecological civilization is not a simple combination of ecology and civilization,but a type of social civilization represented by the relationship between human and nature,forming an ecological civilization concept system in different conceptual dimensions.Improved by gradual practice and cognition,the policy-related ecological civilization has experienced a process of unceasing exploration and enrichment.From emphasizing environmental protection to ecological construction and then to pilot demonstration of ecological civilization,China has constantly enriched and improved the concept and system of ecological civilization and will contribute its wisdom and solutions to global ecological civilization construction.
