摘要
课堂话轮沉默现象是当前困扰大学英语教学的一个普遍性问题,学生的消极话轮沉默,会对大学英语教学质量的提升产生严重的负面影响。文章从解读话轮沉默的定义和消极话轮沉默类型出发,深入剖析了大学英语课堂学生消极话轮沉默的各种原因,并结合教学实际,为大学英语教师提出消除和改善学生消极话轮沉默的教学策略。
Silence in the classroom is a common problem in college English teaching.The negative silence of students will have a serious negative impact on the quality of college English teaching.Starting from the definition of the silence of the turn and the type of passive silence,the article analyzes the various reasons of the passive silence of college students in English class and combines the teaching practice to suggest that the college English teachers propose to eliminate and improve the students'negative silence.
