从《海日楼题跋》看沈曾植的碑帖收藏

A Research on Shen Zengzhi s Collection of Rubbings Based on Hairi Lou Tiba

清末民初收藏之风盛行,金石、碑帖、书札、图籍无不成为藏家的插架之物,嘉兴沈曾植便是这一时期较具代表性的碑帖藏家。沈氏精通文史,长于考据,书法卓绝,其鉴、其藏往往金薤琳琅,其跋、其论大多鞭辟入里。通过对《海日楼题跋》等文献的梳理可知,沈曾植碑帖庋藏有三大来源:承袭家传、收罗购求和友人贻赠,他对金石碑帖的收藏并非简单的占有,对碑版、法帖、墨迹多有考证、校勘、辨伪、评骘。在收藏过程中,沈氏还与许多碑帖藏家交往过密,在这一过程中开拓了艺术眼界,提升了赏鉴能力,其藏品在文化、文献、艺术等方面都有重要价值。

At the end of the Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the trend of collecting was prevailing,and the rubbings of inscriptions on bronzes and stone tablets,calligraphy and paintings all became collectors favourites.Shen Zengzhi of Jiaxing was a representative collector of rubbings in this period.He was proficient in literature and history,good at textual research,and excellent in calligraphy.His collection included rare treasures and his postscripts and comments on collection contained penetrating analysis.Through teasing out literature such as Hairi Lou Tiba,it can be known that Shen Zengzhi s collection had three sources:family heritage,purchasing,and gifts from friends.His collection of rubbings was more than mere possession.He carried out much textual research,correction,discrimination and criticism on rubbings of inscriptions,specimens of calligraphy and chirography.In the process of collection,he also communicated closely with many other collectors thus his artistic horizon was broadened and appreciation ability was enhanced.His collections were of great value in the aspects of culture,literature,art and so on.
