摘要
为研制一款具有高峰值功率与高光束质量的2μm波段固体激光器,搭建二极管激光器(laser diode,LD)单端抽运声光调Q Tm∶YLF激光器.激光器的输出中心波长为1879 nm,采用声光调Q技术,得到重复频率为2 kHz的脉冲激光输出,峰值功率达到100.2 kW,最大单脉冲能量为5.25 mJ,最短脉冲宽度为52.2 ns,光-光转换率为30%,斜率效率为33%.光束M^2因子分别为x方向1.51和y方向1.71,光束质量良好.该激光器同时具有高峰值功率与优良光束质量的特点,可广泛用于透明塑料的精细加工、激光医疗以及工业打标等领域.
In order to develop a 2μm band solid state laser with high peak power and high beam quality,we construct a laser diode single-end pumped Q-switch Tm∶YLF laser,the central wavelength of which is 1879 nm and actively Q-switched using an acoustic-optics modulator working at a repetition frequency of 2 kHz.The output peak power up to 100.2 kW is achieved with the single pulse energy of 5.25 mJ,the shortest pulse width of 52.2 ns,corresponding to a slope efficiency of 33% and an optical conversion efficiency of 30%.The output beam shows the good beam quality of M^2 x=1.51 and M2 y=1.71.The laser has high peak power and excellent beam quality,which can be widely used in the fine processing of transparent plastics,laser medical treatment,industrial laser marking and other fields.
