The Hierarchical Structure of China’s Urban Film Economy Based on Rank-clock Theory

2018年,中国文化及相关产业增加值超过4.1万亿元,占GDP的比重为4.48%。在电影生产、影院院线建设和电影市场规模等方面也都呈现快速增长态势。特别是电影院线不断向二三四线城市下沉,大量新建且技术含量更高影院的诞生,持续推动了中国电影放映行业的增长,为国内票房市场爆发奠定了强劲的硬件基础。但对快速增长的中国电影市场和电影经济的量化研究和深入分析却仍然较少,因此,在基于相关产业数据,利用城市地理学的方法,对我国城市电影经济等级结构进行探索性研究,以为优化电影经济空间格局和开展跨区域产业合作与竞争提供参考。

In 2018,the added value of Chinese culture and related industries exceeded 4.1 trillion yuan,accounting for 4.48% of GDP.In recent years,China’s film production,cinema line construction and film market scale are also showing a rapid growth trend.In particular,both the construction of more cinemas in the second,third and fourth level cities,and the emerge of a large number of hi-tech cinemas greatly promoted the growth of China’s film industry,laying a strong hardware foundation for the domestic box office boom.However,the quantitative research and in-depth analysis of the fast-growing Chinese film market and film economy are still few.Therefore,based on the relevant data,using the method of urban geography,this paper expects to make an exploratory study on the hierarchical structure of China’s urban film economy,so as to provide a reference for optimizing the spatial pattern of urban film economy and developing trans-regional industrial cooperation and competition.
