面向知识服务的科技期刊编辑信息能力探析

On Information Capabilities of Editors of Sci-tech Journals for Knowledge Service

为满足大数据时代科技创新对知识的需求,科技期刊应该从信息服务向知识服务转型。面向知识服务的需求梳理科技期刊编辑应具备的信息素养,分别从信息分析和管理能力、信息获取和检索能力、信息挖掘和组织能力3个层面阐析科技期刊编辑面向知识服务的信息能力。信息分析和管理能力指通过分析稿件多维度信息生成立体、网状、互相关联的信息管理集约化平台;信息获取和检索能力指能够高效获取政策方针、相关基金等信息,并能够识别信息源、选择检索词、取舍检索工具、构建高级检索策略以及评价检索结果;信息挖掘和组织能力指能够从科技期刊文献的外部特征进行统计和分析,紧随国内外科研前沿和热点,获得所在研究领域的热点、开展富有地域特色的知识服务、前瞻性地提供相应的知识服务。

In order to meet the demand of scientific and technological innovation for knowledge in the era of big data,scientific and technological journals should transform from information service to knowledge service.To meet the needs of knowledge service in the present era,this paper combs the information literacy that science and technology periodical editors should possess,and analyzes the information ability of science and technology periodical editors for knowledge service from three aspects:information analysis and management ability,information acquisition and retrieval ability,information mining and organization ability.Information analysis and management ability refers to the information management intensive platform which generates three-dimensional,network and interrelated information through analyzing multi-dimensional information of manuscripts;information acquisition and retrieval ability refers to the ability to efficiently obtain information such as policy guidelines and related funds,and to identify information sources,select search terms,choose search tools,construct advanced retrieval strategies and evaluate retrieval results;information mining and organizational ability refers to the ability to make statistics and analysis from the external characteristics of scientific and technological journal literature,follows the frontier and hot spots of scientific research at home and abroad,obtains the focus of attention in the research field,carries out knowledge services with regional characteristics,and provides corresponding knowledge services forward-looking.
