Where is"Green"?——The Comparison and Thinking Based on Toyo Ito and Steven Holl’s Architectural Design Scheme

绿色理念是建筑设计方针中的重要内容。文章通过对日本建筑师伊东丰雄、美国建筑师斯蒂文·霍尔的建筑设计作品以及建筑设计理念进行解读,发现伊东丰雄的绿色理念深具东方意蕴的临时性,霍尔对绿色建筑的界定则体现了西方建筑现象学特征。二者均将绿色理念融于各自的建筑哲学语汇中,并贯穿其建筑设计的全过程,而不把绿色视为设计的附加物。

Green concept is a vital content in architectural design policy.Through the interpretation of the architectural design works and architectural design concepts of Japanese architect Toyo Ito and American architect Steven Holl,the paper finds that Toyo Ito’s green concept has a temporary oriental connotation,while Hol’s definition of green building reflects the phenomenological characteristics of western architecture.Both of them integrate the green concept into their own architectural philosophy vocabulary and run through the whole process of architectural design,instead of taking green as an adjunct to design.
