The problem of emission over standard existing in the traditional start-up and shut-down stages of the sulfur recovery unit was analyzed.In order to realize the green start-up and shut-down of the unit,the new type green start-up and shut-down processes for the sulfur recovery unit were introduced comprehensively,and the advantages and disadvantages of the various processes were listed,which was conducive to the process selection for the sulfur recovery unit according to the unit characteristics.
