When getting diarrhea for a long time,the pathogenesis is complicated,from excess syndrome to weak syndrome.The weakness of spleen and stomach and the stagnation of wet and turbidity caused it hard to be cured.Modem medical treatment is rather tricky while traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages and effects on chronic diarrhea.This paper is a summary of Professor SHAN Zhaowei's treatment of chronic diarrhea.Holding the key pathogenesis of deficiency and turbidity and combining with the viscera syndrome differentiation,Professor SHAN formulated the treatment method of invigorating qi and clearing up qi,and replenishing deficiency with sweet flavor and moist,which has a significant clinical effect.
