王肃与司马氏关系考辨

Study on the Relationship Between Wang Su and Si Ma Family

因王肃与司马氏结为姻亲,于是人们多认为王肃结党于司马氏。从仕职变迁来看,司马氏掌权十六七年间时,王肃官位并没有实质性的提升。在一系列重大政治事件中,如高平陵政变、迎高贵乡公等,王肃并没有表现出明显的忠于司马氏的行为。曹爽当权时,王肃批判其党羽何晏等人,实乃出于其耿直性格,而不是因为其反曹拥马。王肃经学于曹魏时已立于学官,与司马炎称帝无关。由此可见,不能因为姻亲关系而简单地将王肃归为司马氏党羽或亲信。

Many people believed that Wang Su was a strong supporter of Si Ma family for he was related to the Si Ma family with marriage.Wang Su'official position had not been promoted in the period of Si Ma family controlling regime.Wang Su was not obviously loyal to Si Ma family in many great political events,such as Gao Ping Ling Coup and welcoming a new emperor.Wang Su's critiques of He Yan originated from his uprightness,not for he colluding with Si Ma family.Even the Confucian classics noted by Wang Su taught in Tai school was little related with the support of Si Ma family.Therefore,obviously Wang Su wasn't a strong supporter of Si Ma family.
