陈独秀主编的《安徽俗话报》,创办于新旧转折的过渡时代,以救亡图存、开启民智为主要内容,小说以其生动形象成为思想启蒙的重要工具。刊物连载过三部小说:《痴人说梦》《黑天国》《自由花弹词》,这三部小说在使用各种文学技巧的同时,都注意到中国读者的审美习惯,选择传统的记梦写法、异域题材本土化、借鉴民间文学形式等,使小说既承载了社会功能,又通俗易懂,体现出特定时代文学的特点和意义。

AnHui Vernacular Newspaper edited by Chen Duxiu,was founded in the transitional era of the new and the old,with saving the nation from extinction and opening up the people’s wisdom as the main content.The novel had become an important tool for ideological enlightenment with its vivid image.Newspaper published three novels:Dementia Telling Dream,Dark Kingdom,Flower of Freedom,the novels used any literary technique,payed attention to Chinese readers aesthetic habits at the same time,choosed the traditional remember dreams writing,exotic subject localization,folk literature,such as the folk literature form the literature is to make social function,and easy to understand,interesting,reflected the characteristics and significance of the media age literature.
