Basic Elements of a Better Life

美好生活是可以被分解为若干作为共同价值的基本元素的。这些元素主要包括物质奠基、享用适度,即恰切、合适的物质福利,其实现有赖于物质利益与道德情操的统一;生态和谐、身体健康,前者指人与自然和谐共生,后者指人体发育良好、机理正常,心理和社会适应能力健全,其实现有赖于生活消费与自然生态的和解;自由自主、安全和平,前者指意志自由、行为自抉,后者指人们生活中没有危险、恐惧,相信自己利益、权利、尊严等不会遭受无端侵害,其实现有赖于工作与闲暇的协调、自我与社会的平衡;精神充实、意义深远,即生活具有正向、深远的价值,充满了志趣、积极进取精神和优良品质,其实现有赖于创造与占有的互补。这些基本元素本身可以定义美好生活。只有呵护这些基本元素,多方面地创造条件,努力拼搏,人们才能实现美好生活。

A better life as a common value consists of several basic elements.These elements mainly include material foundation and moderate enjoyment,that is,appropriate material welfare,whose realization depends on the unity of material interests and moral sentiment;ecological harmony and physical health,the former refers to the harmonious coexistence of human and nature,the latter refers to the well-developed human body,normal mechanism,sound psychological and social adaptability,in fact,their realization depends on the reconciliation of living consumption and natural ecology;freedom and independence,security and peace,the former refers to the free will and the self-determination of behavior,the latter refers to people’s life without danger and fear,they believe that their interests,rights,dignity etc,will not be violated unjustly,the realization of them depends on the coordination of work and leisure,the balance of self and society;spiritual enrichment and profound meaning,that is,life has a positive and far-reaching value,full of interest,positive and enterprising spirit and good quality,but in fact,the realization of them depends on the complementarity of creation and possession.These basic elements themselves define a better life.Only when people care for these basic elements,create conditions in many ways,and strive hard,can a better life be realized.
