This paper is to study and interpret the manuscript of The Fourth Ward,an important work created by Ba Jin during the Anti-Japanese War.This manuscript is relatively intact and has important literature and auxiliary research value for the study of the published work.This paper compares the difference between the manuscript and the published version,analysis the psychological state of the author in creation and try to explore author’s true intentions and thoughts hidden in the modification of the manuscript.
