In the study of discourse,concepts concerning Ti as the core are still under controversy,such as the forms or types of literature,genre,style etc.Among the scholars devoting to the study of Ti in the history,the influential ones go to Liu Xie in ancient times,Chen Wangdao in modern times,and Tong Qingbing in contemporary times.Clearing its origins and distinguishing the functional scope,characteristics,and semantic distribution of various concepts is of great significance to promote the development of the discipline construction of style and stylistics in Chinese.
