近年来,随着素质教育的全面推进,在大力弘扬传统文化的大背景下,太极拳作为中华优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,我国很多高校的大学体育课程相继开设了太极拳专业或与其相关的体育课程,太极拳也受到了广大师生的广泛喜爱和青睐。当前在高校大力推行"五育并举"的大背景下,在高校推广太极拳教育具有积极的价值和意义。
