This article introduced a new type of video examination adopted in nurse level evaluation examination,including the characteristics,advantages,key points designed,and application.We suggested that such a type of examination should be used in order to meet the equality requirements of nurses.Besides,the video examination has the advantage on measuring the logistic thinking ability of nurses and assessing the abilities of common skills,clinical practice,and communication.
