University archival institution is a special institution of university and social archives information service.Ensuring the security of archives entities and improving security capabilities proactively are the primary responsibilities for the archival department.Using intelligent information equipment and the Internet of Things technology to establish an intelligent monitoring system which integrates environment,security and intelligent management of archives is the general trend of university archives infrastructure construction.By analyzing the designing purpose and performance requirements of environmental security intelligent monitoring system,sub-modules of the structure and function of the system are constructed,thus providing a new idea for the security monitoring and archives management of university archives institutions.
