许德佑:从文艺青年到地质学家

Hsu Te-You:From literary youth to geologist

许德佑是我国三叠纪古生物研究的开创者之一。他于1944年与两位同事一起被土匪杀害,是我国地质学界深为痛惜的一件憾事。本文根据新发现的材料,结合时代背景着重考察了许德佑的成长经历,尤其是他的兴趣从文艺转向社会科学,又从社会科学转向自然科学的曲折过程。

Hsu Te-You is one of the pioneers of the Triassic paleontology research in China.He was killed by bandits in 1944 with two colleagues.This is a tragedy in the history of geology in China.According to the newly discovered materials and the background of the times,this paper explores the growth experience of Hsu Te-You.This research focuses on the tortuous process of his interest from literature to social science and from social science to natural science.
