悔罪规则书是流行于中世纪早期,教会用以定罪与惩罚的指导手册,其中对各种罪以及对应的惩罚方式做了详细的规定。慈善作为贪婪之罪的一种补赎方式,以及其他罪的代赎方式,相比于其他补赎方式更具有社会性。这种社会性体现在对社会带来的双重影响上,其对社会产生的积极影响在于鼓励慈善行为和社会救济,其负面影响在于为教会的腐败提供了机会。

The penitential books are manuals widely used by the church in the Early Middle Ages to convict and punish,which make detailed provisions for various sins and corresponding punishments.Charity,as a way of penance for the sin of greed and commutation for other sins,is of more sociality compared to other ways of redemption.This sociality is reflected in its dual influence on society.Its positive influence on society is to encourage charity and social relief and its negative influence is to provide opportunity for corruption in the church.
