姚永概致力于振兴皖学,提倡师范教育,从安徽高等师范学堂提议兴建到正式创办,一直尽心尽力,被乡绅公选为学堂监督。出任监督后,姚永概大力整改,为安徽近代高等教育发展作出重要贡献。

Yao Yonggai was committed to revitalizing Anhui education and promoting normal education.From the proposal of Anhui Higher Normal School to its formal establishment,he had been dedicated and was elected the headmaster by the squire.After taking over the supervision,Yao Yonggai relied on his post to make great efforts to rectify and reform,which made important contributions to the development of Anhui modern higher education.
