Study on the Letters to Mao Dun by Wang Tongzhao and the Other Issues

1923年1月15日《时事信报·学灯》刊发的王统照给茅盾的信,不见于《王统照全集》,可判定为王统照之集外书简。笔者借助相关史料,对这封信涉及的《小说世界》事件略作钩沉,当不无学术之意义。另,上海文艺出版社之《中国现代文艺资料丛刊》第6辑的三通王统照致赵景深信札,亦未编入《王统照全集》内。由此而提出王统照学术资料的建构工程,应包括《王统照全集补遗卷》《王统照书信集》等保障性资料建设。

On January 15,1923,Wang Tongzhao's letters to Mao Dun,published on the journal of Current Affairs·Lights of Learning was not found on The Complete Works of Wang Tongzhao,which could be judged as Wang's letters outside his works collection.With the help of relevant historic data,the author makes a tentative analysis of the events in The World of Novel involved in this letter,which should not be without academic significance.In addition,the three letters from Wang Tongzhao to zhao Jingshen in the 6 series of Periodicals of Materials of Chinese Modern Literature and Art published by Shanghai Literature and Art Press was not compiled in The Complete Works of Wang Tongzhao.Thereby,it is proposed that the constructing project of Wang Tongzhao's academic materials should contain safeguarding data construction,such as The Addendum to Complete Works of Wang Tongzhao and Collection of Letters of Wang Tongzhao,and etc.
