语篇衔接与连贯视角下《瓦尔登湖》汉译本对比研究

A Comparative Study on Two Chinese Versions of Walden in Light of Text Cohesion and Coherence

衔接和连贯是语篇分析中两个极为重要的概念,也是衡量一部译作质量的重要依据。文章以《瓦尔登湖》的两个中译本为例,对比分析了译者对原作中衔接、连贯手段的把握与处理,认为译者在翻译文学作品时要有语篇意识,重视译文语篇的衔接与连贯,遵照原作者的意图和语篇的逻辑推进层次构建译文。

Cohesion and coherence are two basically important concepts in analyzing a text and evaluating the quality of a translation.Taking two Chinese versions of Walden as the example,this paper makes a comparative analysis of their language features in terms of text cohesion and coherence.It is argued that a translator should t have an awareness of discourse in the translation of literary works,attaching great importance to the cohesion and coherence of the target text,and construct his translation by the writer's intention and the logic relations in the source text.
