《金瓶梅词话》的叙事具有着力刻画场面细节、反复出现同类时间、多次挫败人物行动的特点,因而呈现出独特的时间停滞感。然而,小说中的场面细节是通过欲望凝视得以呈现的,反复出现的同类时间内部也存在着巨大的差异,相对静止的人物群形成了网状世界,但得势的个别角色却保持着线性前进,引发读者阅读兴趣。时间的相对停滞与绝对发展处在辩证统一之下,使得文本反而更加充实,小说的说理和审美功能也都得到了强化。

The narration of Jin Ping Mei CI Hua is characterized by the focus on the description of scene details,repeated occurrence of the same time,and repeated frustration of the action of the characters,thus presenting a unique sense of time stagnation.However,the scene details in the novel are presented through the gaze of desire,and there are also huge differences within the recurring similar time.The reticular world is formed by the relatively static characters,while the dominant individual characters keep linear progress,which arouses readers’interest.The relative stagnation and absolute development of time are under the dialectical unity,which makes the text more substantial and strengthens the reasoning and aesthetic functions of the novel.Therefore,an in-depth study of the sense of time stagnation in Jin Ping Mei Ci Hua will be beneficial to the study of narrative literature.
