治理体系现代化进程中我国大学校长的角色冲突与强化

The role conflict and intensification of University President in the process of modernization of the governance system

校长角色是指校长在履行职责过程中需要呈现出来的不同人物类型,不仅包括校长的社会地位,还包括公众对校长的角色认知和校长在现实社会中所体现的形象。在高等教育治理体系现代化进程中,大学校长以什么样的角色扮演发挥其作为核心利益相关者的作用,是一个值得重新思考的重要命题。文章梳理大学校长角色的变迁和角色冲突的表现形式,通过对大学校长角色冲突原因的分析,认为大学校长应承担更多地公共责任,强化其政策执行者的角色。

Principal’s role refers to the different types of characters that the principal needs to present in the process of performing his/her duties,including not only the social status of the principal,but also the public’s cognition of the principal’s role and the image of the principal in the real society. In the process of modernization of higher education governance system,what kind of role does the university president play as a core stakeholder is an important topic worth rethinking. This paper combs the change of the role of university president and the manifestation of the role conflict.Through the analysis of the causes of the role conflict,the author thinks that university president should take more public responsibility and strengthen the role of policy executor.
