生态翻译学视角下译者的适应和选择——以《尤利西斯》两汉译本为例

Adaptation and Selection of Translators from the Perspective of Eco-translatology——Taking the two Chinese Versions of Ulysses as Example

翻译是译者进行多维度适应选择的活动。在语言维、文化维、交际维三个层面对《尤利西斯》萧乾、文洁若译本和金隄译本的对比分析发现,两译本在语言层面都做出了相应努力。相较而言,在交际层面上,萧乾、文洁若译本在文化层面对原文考虑的多一些,而金隄译本在交际层面对原文考虑得更多。

Translation is an activity in which translators make multi-dimensional adaptive choices.A contrastive analysis of the two Chinese versions of Ulysses at the levels of language dimension,which are Xiao Qian and Wen Jieruo’s version and Jin Di version,culture dimension and communication dimension shows that both versions have made corresponding efforts at the language level.Comparatively speaking,at the communicative level,Xiao Qian and Wen Jieruo’s translation give more consideration to the original text at the cultural level,while Jin Jin Di’s translation give more consideration to the original text at the communicative level.
