生态语言学视角下的英语委婉语解析

Study on the English Euphemism from the Perspective of Eco-Linguistics

英语委婉语作为一种语言现象,为人类交际提供适宜的表达方式,体现人类文明发展的进程,是人类文化发展的载体。生态语言学作为一门新兴学科,为分析英语委婉语提供了新的视角。运用生态语言学这一理论,以英语委婉语为语料,通过分析其生态特征发现,与自然界生态现象类似,英语委婉语自身的出现和发展特征体现了语言进化、语言多样性和互生规律的生态规律。通过对英语委婉语的生态特征分析,可以了解英语国家的历史文化,并且对跨文化交际的学习有重要意义。

As a linguistic phenomenon,English euphemism provide a suitable expression for human communication,it reflects the development of human civilization,and it is also the carrier of human culture.As an emerging discipline,eco-linguistics provides a new perspective for analyzing English euphemism.This paper uses this theory to consider English euphemism as corpus to analyze its ecological rules.By studying its ecological laws,English euphemism reflect the ecological rules including the evolution of language,linguistic diversity and mutual law,which are similar to the ecological phenomenon in the natural world.Through the analysis of the ecological characteristics of English euphemism,we can understand the history and culture of English-speaking countries,and it also makes important significance for the study of intercultural communication.
