新时代的湖南地质工作承载着落实习近平生态文明思想和发展新理念的新使命,迫切需要转向“新地质”;要以山水林田湖草生命共同体系统观,巩固传统地质,拓展地质灾害防治、新能源新材料等战略性关键矿产勘查、生态修复、地下空间勘查开发、土地质量地球化学调查评价、地质大数据建设领域以及“一带一路”新的区域,打造“大地质、大资源、大生态、新空间、大数据”的“新地质”格局。

Hunan Geology Carries a new mission that implementing the Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization and the new concept of development in new era.That means we need to go over to“New Geology”immediately;We should take the Systematic theory of the Life community of landscape,forest,farmland,lake and grass,to Consolidate traditional geology,to expand the prevention and control of geological disasters,the exploration of New Energy,new materials and other strategic key minerals,the ecological restoration,the exploration and development of underground space,the investigation and evaluation of land quality geochemistry,the fields of geological big data construction and new areas of"Belt and Road",and to build a"new geology"pattern of"big geology,big resources,big ecology,new space and big data".
