新中国初期,针对民族地区矛盾尖锐、学生思想复杂这一实际,民族院校非常重视民族团结教育,并采取了切实有效的措施。在理论教学方面,通过教学方针、任务和课程设置凸显民族团结教育,并通过课堂教学和邀请校外领导作报告突出民族团结教育。在实践教学方面,通过组织校内外参观交流、建设民族文物场馆等方式推进民族团结教育。同时,尊重民族风俗习惯和宗教信仰,在日常生活中渗透民族团结教育。新中国初期民族院校开展民族团结教育的成功经验给新时期民族院校开展民族团结教育很多启示。

In the early days of New China,in view of the reality of the sharp contradictions in ethnic areas and the complicated thinking of students,ethnic colleges and universities attached great importance to the education of ethnic unity and took effective measures.In theoretical teaching,ethnic unity education was highlighted through teaching principles,tasks,and curriculum,and also through classroom teaching and inviting leaders from outside the school to make reports.In terms of practical teaching,the education of ethnic unity was promoted by organizing visits and exchanges inside and outside the school and building ethnic cultural relics venues.At the same time,ethnic customs and religious beliefs were respected,and ethnic unity education was infiltrated in daily life.The successful experience of ethnic unity education conducted by ethnic colleges and universities in the early days of New China has given many enlightenments to ethnic unity education conducted by ethnic colleges and universities in the new period.
