蔡元培对青年学生之时代追问

作为开创中国现代教育制度先河的教育家,蔡元培认识到青年学生肩负着振兴中华的历史重任,青年学生的发展关系着整个国家民族的前途与命运。因此要改变中华民族落后挨打的命运,就要培养国之新民,培养国之新民首先就要从培养青年学生入手。蔡元培围绕着青年学生应该具备怎样的能力与素质这一基本问题,发出了"怎样才配做一名现代学生?"的时代追问。鼓励青年学生把自身理想追求同国家和民族的前途命运紧密相连,引导青年学生树立正确的价值追求。时至今日这一时代追问依然闪耀着智慧的光芒,为做好新时期青年学生工作提供有益借鉴。

Cai Yuanpei,as the educationist who initiates China’s modern education system,is convinced of that young students are responsible for revitalizing the Chinese nation and that the development of young students is related to the future and the fate of the whole nation.In order to change Chinese nation’s fate of being backward and beaten,cultivating the new people of our country is necessary,and cultivating young students should be the first.Encourage young students connect their own ideal pursuit closely with country’s and nation’s future and fate and guide young students set up correct value pursuit.At the present time,the times inquiry still shines with the light of wisdom and provides beneficial reference to the young student in the new era.
