Research on the Value of Introducing British and American Literature into College English Teaching

英语教学需引入英美文学,不仅可以拓宽大学生的英语知识面,提高大学生的英语语感能力,而且能让大学生体会到英语语言的魅力,使他们的英语学习从任务驱动型转变为兴趣驱动型。文章分析大学英语的教学现状,探讨大学英语引入英美文学的意义,指出英美文学引入英语课堂教学的措施,以培养高素质英语人才。

The introduction of British and American Literature in English teaching can not only broaden college students’English knowledge and improve their English language sense ability,but also make them realize the charm of English language and change their English learning from task driven to interest driven.This paper analyzes the current situation of college English teaching,discusses the significance of introducing British and American literature into college English teaching,and points out the measures to introduce British and American literature into English classroom teaching,so as to cultivate high-quality English talents.
