联合国教科文组织鼓励各成员国与不同的语言族群共同努力,以达到语言保护的目的,并使其发展、恢复及永久延续,提倡使用尽可能多的语言,以促进其传播,支持不同教育层次达到语言多样性,倡导充分保存和利用传统与现代的多种交流方法和知识传播方式,传播语言的多样性。融合出版对语言保护具有得天独厚的优势,如何发挥好其语言保护的重要作用值得深入研究。
