In his book The Complexity and Contradiction of Architecture,Robert Venturi,a far-reaching postmodern architect in the 20th century,put forward the reflection and modification of modern architecture,which aroused a new way of thinking about architecture.In this paper,the architectural concepts and methods presented in his theoretical works are sorted out to provide references for architectural design.
