High-quality performance information is a solid foundation for achieving accurate government evaluation and efficient management.By using the bibliometric method to sort out the research status and hotspots of government performance information,it is found that the quantity of literature is highly consistent with national conditions and practice,and the collaboration between authors is close.The research hotspots mainly focus on public participation,performance evaluation,and performance management,third-party institutions,and performance information.The five major aspects of management present two major trends:strengthening its mechanism of accountability and legal construction;strengthening local government performance management.
