《抗击疫情湖北方言通》的研制和应用

Development and Application of Hubei Dialects-Mandarin Translation Toolkit for Anti-COVID-19

为解决外地援鄂医疗队在医患沟通中遇到的方言障碍,助力抗击新冠肺炎疫情,战疫语言服务团成立后的首要任务是研制《抗击疫情湖北方言通》。文章从调查条目表的编制、已有基础和专业支撑、基础资源汇聚的工作实践等方面回顾了《抗击疫情湖北方言通》的研制过程,介绍了其微信版的主要功能、特点、统计数据以及其他六种应用类型的基本情况。从本次为抗击疫情提供语言服务的实践来看,历经5年建设周期的“中国语言资源保护工程”为我国汉语方言、少数民族语言的应急服务提供了学术资源、人才储备和技术支撑,应尽快启动面向突发公共事件处置的语言应急研究和建设。

To help overcome the dialect barrier of non-local medical teams to Hubei province in their communication with the local patients and support the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic,the Anti-COVID-19 Language Service Group was given the priority task of developing Hubei Dialects-Mandarin Translation Toolkit for Anti-COVID-19.This thesis reviews the development process of Hubei Dialects-Mandarin Translation Toolkit for Anti-COVID-19,covering the selection of survey entries,the existing basis,the professional support and basic resources,and discusses the main functions,characteristics and statistical data of the WeChat Version and the basic information of the other six application types.In respect of the provision of linguistic services for fighting against COVID-19,the Project for the Protection of Language Resources of China lasting a span of five years has provided academic resources,talent reserves and technical support for China's emergency servicesin connection with Chinese dialects and minority languages.Efforts shall be made to initiate further emergency language research and development in response to public emergencies.
