《老乞大》书名另释

A New Interpretation of the Title of Laokita

《老乞大》是高丽、李朝时代朝鲜半岛通用的一部颇具“汉儿言语”特征的汉语教科书。关于书名“老乞大”的释义,前贤虽有所论及,认为“老乞大”的“乞大”来源于达斡尔祖语、契丹语,“老契丹”是“中国通”之义,但未成定论。文章尝试通过朝鲜吏读的视角,做出另外的解释。

Laokitais a Chinese textbook with the characteristics of“Han-Er Chinese”,which was commonly used in the Korean Peninsula during the Korean and Lee Dynasties.Although some of the previous scholars have interpreted the title of Laokita and believed that“kita”in“Laokita”originated from the Daur language and Khitan language,and that“Lao Khitan”meant“Sinologue”,there are still controversies.This paper attempts to make a new interpretation from the perspective of the Korean Lidu language.
