摘要
未经处理排放的工业废水中的重金属可能会对人类健康构成威胁。有很多种不同方法去除工业废水中的重金属,其中使用活性炭吸附法是去除重金属最常用的方法之一。事实证明,活性炭的吸附受许多因素的影响,包括活性炭的粒径,被吸附物的浓度,吸附剂的表面积和孔径,重金属的类型以及要处理的水量。
Heavy metals from industrial effluent may pose a threat to human health if the water is discharged untreated into the environment.A lot of research has been carried out and still is being done on different methods of eliminating heavy metals from industrial effluent with adsorption being one of the most common methods in heavy metal removal.Activated carbon(AC)adsorption proves to be influenced by many factors which include particle size of AC,concentration of the adsorbate,surface area,and pore size of the adsorbent,type of heavy metal,and also the quantity of the water to be treated.
