An important direction in college education is effectively improving the ideological and political accomplishment of contemporary college students based on the integration of professional courses and ideological and political elements,the political education thinking mode in teaching of professional courses and the samedirection of professional courses and ideological courses teaching.The basic mechanics courses are the compulsory course for engineering students.They have some characteristics,such as popularization and close integration with engineering examples.The key of effectively improving the practice of ideological and political education in engineering courses is digging into the ideological and political elements contained in the basic mechanic curriculums and constructing a political system of basic mechanic curriculums.
