摘要
借鉴元分析法,对国内外期刊在1999~2018年间发表的,与英语教材相关的397篇论文进行了对比研究。量化分析结果显示,国内外研究存在共性的同时呈现出5大差异。研究对象:国内集中于对教材本身的探讨,国外更关注教材的使用者;研究视角:国内研究侧重教材编写,国外更重视教材分析;研究内容:国内研究大多从宏观层面展开,国外更关注微观方面;教材类别:国内偏重对大学阶段英语教材的研究,国外对大中小各学段英语教材的关注较为均衡;研究方法:国外研究的语料收集途径和分析方法更加多样。从定性分析的视角出发,以部分研究成果为案例,进一步讨论了国内外研究在上述5方面的具体差异,并在文末提出对未来研究的启示。
Employing methods in meta-analytic research this paper reviews 397 articles about English materials published in journals at home and abroad from 1999 to 2018.Firstly quantitative analysis shows between Chinese and foreign journals similarities and 5 major differences as follows (1) Research objects Chinese journals focus on the textbook itself while foreign journals publish more articles about textbooks users.(2) Research perspectives More studies about textbook development are found in Chinese journals while more textbook analysis in foreign journals.(3) Research topics Studies in Chinese journals are mostly conducted from general aspects of textbooks while foreign journals concentrate on more specific aspects.(4) Textbook types Chinese journals publish more research on college English textbooks while in foreign journals studies on textbooks for primary schools middle schools and universities distribute evenly.(5) Methodology In comparison with Chinese journals more data collection and analysis methods are found in foreign journals.Secondly from a qualitative analysis perspective some existing research is selected to exemplify in-depth differences between studies at home and abroad.Implications for future research are finally provided.
